Node marked offline on standby
Hello All
I have a strange situation here.I recently did some clean up of some unused VIP on F5 . After the cleanup i was able to do config sync to my standby . Few Minutes later i recieved few alerts for my servers on my standby device my ICMP helath montior has marked them down , i did a ping to these devices from BIGPIP shell and the reachability was fine . The Strange thing is all these devices on my Active F5 are fine in terms of Health Monitor . I am not sure what happend on Standby . Tried top disable and enable the node still no go
Any suggestions would be helpful

Sounds similar to an issue we experienced less than a year ago on our active unit. Pool members marked down by health monitor yet connectivity (both ping and service checks with curl) were fine from bash. However we could create an identical pool and the pool members for that pool were marked online.
F5 support indicated the issue was likely a corrupt binary config file. The system was forced to reload from the text config after which the original pools worked as expected.
SOL13030 provides info on forcing reload from the text config. No shame in engaging support to confirm the actual cause.
