No iRules listed on v11.3 LTMs?

Hi all, I recently installed the v11.0.2 iRule Editor and tried using it to view my v11.3 LTM iRules. Unfortunately, none of the v11.3 iRules are displaying in the editor, when I connect to any of our 11.3 LTMs. Can you guys think of any reason why this may not be working? Thanks in advance! Brian

    Hi Brian,

     

    Are the iRules in a different partition than the default 'Common' partition? If so, you'd want to select the partition in the iRule editor under File | Partition.

    It's almost certainly a partitioning issue. The default partition for your user when logging into the CLI/GUI is likely different than /common, which is where the iRules editor always defaults. Hoolio's right, as is often the case, all you need to do is select the appropriate partition and you should be good to go.

     

    There's no change in the underlying iControl API that the iRule editor uses to view/list iRules between 11 and 11.3 that would make listing these things stop working.
