Need to change response uri in payload from http to https

Is it a specific response URI that you want to change from HTTP to HTTPS, or do you want to change all content references to HTTP resources to HTTPS? Depending on your answer there are lots of alternatives. One might be to add an HSTS header to the client-side response, forcing the client's browser to then internally "redirect" HTTP requests for particular domains to HTTPS.
