Need Help with L7 HTTP Probes

Team,

 

I need to create a Layer 7 health probe to probe 2 separate servers in a pool.

 

 

 

If the probe to server01 should fail, server02 should stay up. The issue that I having is that I’m added these probes to the pool, when I bring down server02, the F5 is still showing it up, maybe it’s because the probe to server01 is still up.

 

How can I fix this?

    Can you explain your goal ? It will help to provide a better solution.

     

    I think based on my guess work of your required solution, you may have to explore priority groups and/or multiple monitor checks.

     

    For example, use 2 monitors (1 each for server01 and server02). Attach both monitors to server01 and set the pool configuration such that the server01 will be marked UP only if both monitors succeed. You would have to configure the server IP in the monitor.
