Multiple SSL Client Profiles for one Virtual Server

I am trying to assign two SSL client profiles to a single virtual server. One of the profiles requires client authentication and the other doesn't.   I am seeing this error on F5:   0107149e:3:...

I was also fighting with the error message:

Selected client SSL profiles do not match security policies for Virtual Server

And I found out that the reason seems to be that all SSL profiles need to have the same parent. Is this really the case or is this depending on the differences between the parents? For me it was just a different Cipher String and Renegotiation was disabled.
