Multiple monitors to one pool
Hi Experts,
Has anyone added multiple health monitors to one pool? If so, can you please provide information about the behavior? In case just one monitor detects the node is not working properly, is the pool member marked as down? Or should both monitors report problems?
I want to add two monitors to one pool from GUI, and in case one of them detects that response is not ok, the pool member is set as down. Would be enough to add the monitor to the pool with the availability requirement as "All"?
Thanks in advance and best regards, Gabriela

Hi would like to check if this instance has been resolved?
We have a similar scenario to this one.
For our case we actually need to check 3 diff hosts for 1 node. so we created a custom http monitor with the below send and receive string.
Send String: GET /alive.png HTTP/1.1\r\nHost:domain1.com\r\n\r\n
Receive String: HTTP/1.1 200 OK
This is currently working for domain1.com.
But we have 3 diff host/url (domain1-3.com) pointing to the same VIP and nodes.
so we need to have different "Send string" for each of the host/url. So if user access either domain1 2 or 3. F5 should check the heartbeat through /alive.png for each of the host/url.
can this be done without using an external monitor? instead just create 3 different health monitor and apply it on the same pool? if yes, what will be the behaviour of the monitor?
Thanks in advance.
