Moving physical interfaces on Cisco VSS

Hi,

 

 

We are configuring a new Cisco VSS with a coupe of 6509 switches. Configuration is completed, and VSS is up and running. Only after al is done, we had to move one module from slot 3 to slot 7.

 

Surprisingly the VSS has showed the new interface numbers, and bet still kept the old interface numbers, and we can't get rid of them,

 

 

anyone has an idea how can we delete the non existing interface numbers.
