Move external DNS from Century Link to F5 DNS VE

Hi guys - Are there any steps from the Centurylink side to get this done? Any gotchas besides lowering the TTL values before migration?

 

Also, if we wanted to move to the Silverline for DDoS protection services in the near future, will we be moving the authoritative server again? Or any other configuration??
