monitor probing when pool member is manually marked down

Hi,   Will LTM send monitoring probes to the pool member when it is manually disabled by the user?   Awaiting for your response. Parvez

Had one more query.

 

I have two files bigip.conf and bigip.conf.bak.

 

When the LTM is reloaded, which of these files will be loaded into the running config of the box?

 

what is the use of .bak file?
