Monitor node exchange 2016
Hi ,
We have 1 virtual server exchange 2016 with 4 nodes . yesterday one of these nodes was pingable but no interface page login . and then , f5 didn't put the node DOWN .
How can i create a health monitor who check if the interface login isn't joinable to turn the node down on F5 ?
can i use this :
send string : GET /owa/\r\n
receive string : OutlookSession=
reverse : yes
did this can work to check if the interface is displayed or no to turn the node down or no ?
Thank you
Hey!
Have you checked out the Deployment Guide for Exchange 2016? It has a complete guide over Health Monitors.
It is located here:
Deploying F5 with Microsoft Exchange 2016 Mailbox Servers
What is basically says is to use the following settings:
Type: HTTP (SSL Offload) HTTPS (SSL Bridging)
Interval: 30 (recommended)
Timeout: 91 (recommended)
Send String: GET /owa/healthcheck.htm HTTP/1.1\r\nHost:owa.example.com\r\nConnection: Close\r\n\r\
Receive String: 200 OK
I hope this helps! 🙂
