Monitor help.. scripted?

Need some help trying to figure out a way to do the following for a health monitor.

 

 

We want to use a health monitor on an alias node which is not a member of the pool in which the monitor is for. The monitor might be (?) is a tcp socket where we are expecting a 0 return. If something other than 0 is returned including NULL (nothing at all) keep the VIP/Pool up, monitor passes. If 0 is returned mark the VIP/Pool down, monitor fails.

 

 

I’ve reviewed the Reverse setting on monitors however this doesn’t quite seem to be the thing I’m looking for. I’m leaning towards I might have to use a scripted monitor; however I’m not too sure about that either.

 

 

I’ve ever done a scripting monitor before. Any help is appreciated.
