Monitor based on Server Performance

Has anyone got suggestions on how I can create a monitor based on Server Performance.

 

For Windows Servers there is the WMI monitor. My requirement is for a similar monitor for a Linux based system.

 

Any Suggestions?

    Do you really want a server to be set down by a monitor closing connections to it?

    If you want to load balance connections based on server performances, configure 

    Observed
    load balancing method. It is the recommended lb method based on both least connection and fastest methods.
