Migrating from Physical to Virtual f5

UCS can not be pushed from hardware to VE.

When I have to push a configuration from one system to another one, I use SCF files http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/400/sol13408.html

However, I think we might run into problems getting the scf off of the f5. Have you worked with appliance mode? Do you know the best way to get an file off of the f5?

Yeah, you can use sftp or scp with root account. Default passwd is "default".

SCF file should be in /config folder.

The root is actually disabled with appliance mode. Do you happen to know a work around with using appliance mode?

Damned, I did not see you were in appliance mode. I searched and I did not see any way to download the configuration in Appliance mode.

Perhaps someone else has an idea ???
