NimbostratusMigrating from a Physical LTM to a virtual device.
Folks, What would be the points to consider when we move from a Physical F5 device to a Virtual F5 device? We have approx. 30 Virtual IP's configured and all of them would be moved to the Virtual device. Is there any way we can calculate the throughput on the existing Physical device? This will help us understand what license we need to buy with the new Virtual device.

Are you looking for f5 software based or Viprion module? If it is Viprion then 2400 or 4400 is good option.
N__197982this is F5 software based. The VE with LTM license, and maybe the APM license.

Yes, you can configure... Past we have done that in ESXi box.

Hi,
You can check your current F5 throughput from GUI. Navigate to "Statistics" and then click on "Dashboard", you will find a lot of useful statistics there.
