Hi Team, we are currently replacing Microsoft TMG product with F5. currently TMG performs authentication,authorization,load balancing function.i would like to know whether F5 Big IP having feature to authorize external user and provide particular access to folder in share point server farm? basically requirement is F5 should support advanced level authorization & provide access level to external user to server farm behind F5. So the user access level can be restricted to access particular folder within share point server farm.
we are looking for F5 as replacement solution for Microsoft TMG product.

Yes, absolutely - you would want to read up the manual about L7 ACLs in APM to understand how it would work.
JinshuYes. F5 APM does this work for you. APM module can do authentication, authorization for the external users based on the policy created.
There are predefined templates (iApps) available for sharepoint configurations.

SWG is only needed for outbound access control. For the inbound use cases, APM is enough with LTM
