Oct 09, 2009Mask on Source Address Affinity persistence
Hello,
When setting up a Source Address Affinity Persistence Profile on a BigIP LTM 9.4.7, what is the default mask when it is set to "None"?
Does none mean no mask at all - i.e. 0.0.0.0 or does it mean persistence on a per host basis - i.e. 255.255.255.255?
Thanks!

It's per host basis.

Hi,
I know this is an old thread but I have a similar issue. I have the default persistence configured to "None" persistence seems to apply on a source addr basis to my pools. The problem is that I want pure Round-Robin load balancing with no persistence - how can this be achieved?
Thanks,

Hi Yasfir
If you do not have any persistence and the load balancing is set to Round Robin...it should do what it's supposed to. What is giving you an indication that persistence is being done when you have set none?
