manage device through floating IP.

Hi, I would like to manage my LTM through floating IP because If fail-over happens I will be landed to active device always as floating IP always reside on active device. should we use floating IP to manage F5.

    Hi,

     

    My colleague prefers to manage big-ip using floating self-ip and finds it useful.

     

    As for me, I like to see what I expect to see in my browser)) If I point to there definitely will be the bigip1.

     

    You can simply enable port-lockdown for tcp/443 on floating self-ip and point your DNS record to that address.
