Mac-address of Primary selfip was retain when failed over to Secondary
Hi ALl,
We have the following diagram:
F51 is connected to N7k1 F52 is connected to N7k2
NK71 and N7K2 is running on HSRP
When F51 is active, primary selfip and floating selfip have same mac-address. When F52 is active, secondary selfip have unique mac-address but mac-address of floating ip is still the same as primary mac-address
is this normal? F52 when using the HSRP floating IP is unable to ping internet.

It sounds like you may have MAC Masquerading configured on the floating Traffic Group with a MAC address belonging to F51. Check your Traffic Group configuration and try setting a new unique MAC address chosen as suggested in (SOL3523)[https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/3000/500/sol3523.html].
