LYNC Attendee client disconnects at 10 seconds
I have configured my LYNC and F5 environment per the F5 Deployment guide (running LTM 10.2.3), I can connect from external clients using the full LYNC client, and web client, but when I use the lync attendee it connects then disconnects at 10 seconds. It does work internally though...
I have a case open with MS and have sent them NETMON and LYNC sipstack trace logs and they seem to think there is something with the configuration on the load balancer but haven't told me anything specific to look at. I normally dont have SNAT configured on the A/V service but did try to enable for testing and that doesn't work either.
I also have a case open with F5 but that is in the early stages...It would be great if F5 and MS support could work together on this but it seems like MS is already starting to point fingers.
Any suggestions on what I can look at while i wait for info from either of the support cases?
- scarnes_82101NimbostratusWe are seeing similar issues where we configured the LTM running 10.2.4 per the latest deployment guide and everything seems to work except the attendee client externally. Through testing, we did notice that if we allow all ports on the A/V UDP 3478 VIP instead of just 3478 the attendee client works just fine externally. Supposedly only port 50000-59999 are used for outbound communication but my testing says differently. Were you ever able to resolve your issue?
