How should I proceed with the LTM-VE deployment if i have a purchase license? Should i download the trail version ova file with a trail license and then register the device with the actual license? O...

I wouldn't bother with the trial version - it seems to be a very specific distribution. Download the regular ova from downloads.f5.com - there you will find images for all sorts of hypervisors. On the ESXi image it says it's for 4.0 - 5.1 but I'm running it on a 5.5 without any problems. And yes, the key is valid for any v9+ version.
