LTM Returns "Refused" DNS Response

The named on the 'host' side of the LTM (i.e., the management plane) shouldn't affect the VIP configuration at all so I very seriously doubt this is an issue. It may be worth a double check on your virtual server config to be sure it is bound to the vlans you expect it to be bound to.

 

 

Also, is your test client on the same vlan as the pool member, by chance? Are you using SNAT? Does the pool member point to the BigIP for its default gateway?
