LTM Fundamentals Exercise Guide version 11.6.0.03 APPENDIX B – VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT DIAGRAM

Whom should I contact to correct the illustration in Appendix B? Pages 7-9 indicate that the virtual networks have the following descriptions.

 

VMnet 1 - Out of band management on 10.128.1.0/24.

 

VMnet 2 - NATd external network for users accessing virtual servers on 10.128.10.0/24.

 

VMnet 3 - Internal VLAN where the back-end Web servers are located on 10.128.20.0/24.

 

The illustration in Appendix B labels 10.128.10.0/24 as External - VMnet1 (NAT). It should be labeled VMnet2 (NAT). The illustration in Appendix B labels 10.128.20.0/24 as Internal - VMnet2. It should be labeled VMnet3. The illustration in Appendix B does not show the 10.128.1.0/24 VMnet at all, although some IP's are listed.

 

This may seem minor to experienced users of F5 and VMware Workstation, but to nubes this might be rather confusing.
