Locating inactive/unassigned nodes

Is there a show command that would identify which nodes are either not assigned to a pool or are assigned to an inactive pool?

    Have you tried running iHealth diagnostics on a qkview from your BIG-IP system? It should help you identify unassigned objects but I'm not sure if it can pick out unassigned nodes. I know it will find unassigned pools and that may be a start at least.
