I have a dns entry wf1.a.com 3 iis servers with one web application in each server with ports (https) 12210 and (http)12211, no host headers. the round-robin F5 pools are for the VIP has https wf1.a.com 12210 and http wf1.a.com 12211
this is an intranet so nothing goes outside the company. The http site works when I access over the internet, the https access gets the certificate page (not recommended) and then when I click, it just spins and then it takes me to the page cannot find the site.
when I try to access with the server name through https over the internet it works () but if I type https://wf1.a.com:12210 it does not.
What it will be the problem in the F5 configuration?

When you are getting certificate page, it means the clientside connection (between end user to F5) is successfully initiated. You proceed clicking continue to proceed, post which serverside connection (F5 to webservers) is initiated.
For your servers running on https, have you configured serverssl profile in the VS of https alone.
