Load balance SNMP trap traffic via LTM
Hi, Is it possible to load balance snmp trap traffic to multiple server behind LTM. We are planning to deploy large monitoring solution for 5000+ network devices and will like to check if we can load balance snmp trap traffic from 5000+ devices to few SNMP trap servers. Traffic flow is like this Network devices -> SNNP udp VIP snmp.abc.com:162 -> server-1:162, server-2:162, server-3:162 With this we can avoid adding multiple snmp trap destination on all network devices.

Are you trying to send all traps to all servers? If so that's no load balancing, that would be cloning the traffic. If that's the case you could use a clone pool, https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/300/sol13392.html.

What if instead of loadbalancing , we need to send to one single server ? can it be done without clone pool ?
