Link Loadbalancer using LTM: Is there a way to load balance a Link based on the website they are accessing?

Hi,

I would like to ask if there is a way to direct a traffic based on the Website they are accessing.

3 ISP - Switch - F5 - Switch - User

For Example: I am User 1 and I am accessing youtube.com. I want to direct the traffic to ISP 1 because he is accessing youtube.com and all the users who are not accessing youtube.com will be all directed evenly to ISP 2 and ISP 3

Is there a way to do this?

Thank you in advance.

Regards, Leo

  • the basic will be this: https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/ltm-implementations-11-1-0/2.html

then you can create a pool per ISP and use an iRule or Local Traffic Policy to steer certain traffic to specific ISPs.
