Link Controler and x-forward

I use a link controler to load balancer three ISP, but, yet I have a web server inside the network that need to know the IP address of the client. Can I use iRules on the Link Controler to insert the customer IP in the x-forward field of the http header ? Are the LTM functionnality absolutely needed ?

    Hi Hervé,

     

     

    Yes, you need an LTM license to parse HTTP or other layer 7 content. LC doesn't support this.
