Licensed default limit of "SSL, 500 TPS Per Core"

I find the following in "http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/7000/700/sol7751.html" that:   SSL CMP @ 500 TPS per core is now enabled in the base license for the BIG-IP 1600, 3600, 390...

I've asked in the past. It is 500 fps per core (Which means it's calculated separately by each TMM process. Easier that way).

 

However!!! That '500 tps' is calculated as 5 transactions per 10 ms period... (1/100th of a second).

 

In any 10ms period the 6th (And subsequent) SSL connection will be dropped with an error.

 

In practice what you'll usually see is when you manage to go over 250tps per TMM (core) averaged over about a minute, you'll start to see some SSL connections dropped with license exceeded.
