License key question
I have a license key for a virtual edition that shows it's already assigned when I try to reuse it, but I haven't been able to locate the device it's on (may have been deleted?). Would there be any info associated with the license key on the F5 site that may help to identify it? I don't have access to the My Support page yet (have just requested it), thus I haven't been able to check there.
...or will I need to open a ticket with F5 to revoke it?
Thanks!

Hi Alan,
There is no way to check where the license is applied with virtual editions. Only with hardware devices.
The only way to revoke the license is by opening a ticket with F5 support.

Hi Alan,
Same happened with me as well and they mentioned that Once Virtual licenses are used they do not provide it with a similar one. We have to request for a new one in such case.
Thanks!
