LC + LTM migration to GTM + LTM

Hi all,

 

Recently I need to upgrade and migrate the LC + LTM to GTM +LTM, the LC has properly set listener and inbound wideip which is very similar to GTM, I checked F5 resource but seems no related information to do so.

 

Therefore could you guys please share how to properly proceed the migration? Is that any modification needs to be involved such as wideip.conf.

    Hi,

     

    LC configuration is the same as GTM one.

     

    in LC configuration :

     

    • Datacenter (object not in WebUI) is set to default_DC (as I remember)
    • pools names are the same as wide IPs.

    you can easily provision GTM in place of LC.
