LACP issue on LB
Hi Guys, We configured LACP on LB last week, We trunked the port 1.5 and 1.8 together. After LACP configuration 1.5 is consuming more traffic utilization than 1.8.And the trunk port is connected to nexus switch. On LB the interface is not sharing the load equally. Guys please share your suggestion regarding this.
LACP Settings on LB:
LACP :Enabled
LACP Mode :Active LACP Timeout :Long
Link Selection Policy :Auto
Frame Distribution Hash :Source/Destination IP address port

Do you have a couple source addresses that are using more bandwidth than others? You will not get a 50/50 distribution unless all your clients have the same utilization.

Thanks Brad for your quick response, I have one more doubt, Do I need to enable any setting on LB to make 50/50 load sharing?

I don't believe so. What kind of distribution are you seeing? How many client connections do you have. What's the total bandwidth through your trunk? - Christopher_Ela

Total Port connected in Trunk : 2, Each port is having a capacity of 1 Gbps , Total Bandwidth in Trunk is 2 Gbps. We have connected this 2 ports in Nexus 5K and at Nexus 5K the LACP mode is Active without VPC enabled.
