Kerberos support

Hi,

 

 

I apologize if this is not the correct place to post or not.

 

 

My colleague is trying to load balance Kerberos (1.6.x KDC) and we read about Kerberos Delegation. I am not sure what version of BigIP hardware and OS I need. I've tried to email pre-sales support but no response for a few days. I only have access to a limited number of LTM models which may be old and my OS is only 9.3 and 9.4.7

 

 

Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Kerberos constrained delegation appeared first in 9.4.5 I believe. you should be OK with the 9.4.7, although you may need to purchase the ACA module for this (I'm not 100% sure).

     

     

    Note that this feature is more for authentication than LB though; that is, you delegate the auth out to the LTM from your KDC so it can grant access to resources.
