Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has some examples of a i-rule to persist on primary and secondary nodes for Weblogic v10. I seen some older posts on doing this but they where using jsession uri, We use JSESSION cookies.
Thanks,

Great. I'll try testing something in the next few work days and get back to you.

I tested an initial version using UIE persistence without the session table. Logically it looks good, but when testing TMM cores. I need to see if it's a logic error on my part or an unavoidable bug. I'll let you know how it goes.

Aaron,
No problem, thank you for you support.

So this is the first version of the rule that I was testing. It seems to crash TMM when either adding or looking up the UIE persistence records. Don't try this on a production system! But if you have a test unit, could you see if you get any different results? I'll open a case with F5 and see if they can determine what the problem is.

Aaron,I appreciate it I will test this out in next couple weeks when I get availability to the dev environment. I apologize for taking so long to respond, I have been out of the office. I will let you know how it works. Again I deeply appreciate your help and time.-Brett - hoolio

Aaron,
Thanks for you help. I have been working with support as well and had pointed this thread to them. My issue is that I'm still on 9.2.5. Support told me that the code installed and didn't error out. I'm going to try and test it during our next maintenance schedule. Hope it works out for Brett.

I can't see any reason the rule wouldn't work on 9.2.5. Originally I was thinking of using the table command (added in 10.1.0), but UIE persistence seemed like a cleaner solution anyhow.
It would be a good idea to upgrade to a supported version when you're able to. 9.3.1 would be a quick, safe change. 10.0.1 with the latest hotfix would be a better long term solution. Or you could use 10.1.0 once a hotfix or two are released.

Hi Brett,
That's good to hear. I'll add this to the Codeshare at some point. If you run into any issues when you test more or use it in production, could you reply here?
Thanks, Aaron
