jmx

Has anyone ever queried JMX on a Tomcat server from an LTM or have any ideas how that might work?

Thanx!

  • There's no native support for the protocol, so I suppose it depends on whether you're talking about binary-encoded mbeans communications or web services/SOAP requests. Both would technically be possible, but with different levels of effort.

  • Perl, Python, Bash, TCLSH (on later versions), some platforms have a minimal Java base I think. There's others that I can't remember at the moment, and versions are dependent on the F5 version. No Expect though. :(
