iSTAT for browser version

Hi,

 

I have a request to report on the browser version of a user hitting a particular VIP. I've read that istats in combination with an irule may be able to take care of this. I'm not interested in the specific user but rather just a counter that increments next to the browser type. This wouldn't be a specific browser type either, so I need to report on all browsers. Is this possible?

 

Also, is there an enablement required to use istats? Does it require AVR istalled?
