Yeah!. vCMP Host(11.x Series) is platform independent. vCMP Host & vCMP guest can have different OS version. For safe side please open proactive support case with F5.

There's a matrix here on what combination you can have vCMP host and compatible guest version matrix
There is one thing to bear in mind and that is licensing - you may have to re-activate the license to update the Service Check date. For this you run on the vCMP host.
Hope this helps,

Yes, you can. In fact I started to upgrade several guests a couple days ago without upgrading the hosts.
You just have to upload (import) the ISO files (images and/or hotfix) to each guest, as I see your version is 11.3. I think starting on version 11.6 you can share ISO files from the Viprion chassis to its guests, so you wouldn't have to upload the file to each one.
Also be aware of your service check date, which you can see on your Viprion. If your service check date is missing or earlier to the License Check date of the version you are moving to, you will have to re-activate your license. Check this out:
The procedure is quite simple: in System / Software Management, you will have to import the ISO files and install them into an empty HDD partition. Then, in "Boot locations" you have to select which partition you like the system to start from after next reboot (the change will cause the guest to restart).
If you have an HA pair, you can do it without affecting the service by upgrading the standby guest and then forcing a failover.
