Is it possible to create a wide IP address which provide the IP address of 2 Linux server?

Question

We need a Wide IP address which provides the IP address of 2 linux servers. I am not planning on using the VIP because the application requirement is that the want the ip address for the linux server to make it work.
What is the best way to configure. Should i use the option of generic host in server list or should i go into one of my LTM and add the IP address of the 2 linux server as Virtual Servers.&nbsp;

Hi,&nbsp;
Generic hosts is the solution to configure such requirement.&nbsp;
create a generic host with the server IP address (with a icmp monitor if required), then create a generic host virtual server with the linux host and the service to monitor. assign to this virtual server the application monitor.&nbsp;
