Is changing master-key impactful?

Does changing the master-key (tmsh modify sys crypto master-key) on a BigIP interrupt operation in any way? Can it be performed on an active device without impact?

    My experience was that a tmsh command took effect immediately.

    hi - UNI -- did reset the master - Key and did you experience and impact i am doing a platform migration and need to re-set the key as there are encrypted passwords in it .
