Yes a 302 appears to mean that the user is authenticated and then redirects the user to the default.aspx page. When auth fails or IIS fails(which is the issue)the page displays a login failed error message and returns a 200 OK. I am not sure where the logon page gets the Viewstate. Thanks for the script, but I may have to research how to modify it and where to place in on the F5 to monitor each node.
