iRule to Bypass Load on the cache servers

Hi Every body,

 

I'm trying to use LTM for doing load-balancing between some cache servers. As my cache server's resources are limited, I need to write an iRule in order to forward the requests to Internet as soon as I reached the cache servers capacity(Request Per Second). How can I do it?

    Maybe not exactly what you are looking to, but last releases introduce via the GUI a connection per second parameter you can define per pool member. it could help you to get the pool member unused and then select a new one with priority group activation feature pointing to your internet resource ?
