you may check priority group activation, destination address persistence or single node persistence to see whether it is applicable.

is there a way that we can configure this with irule /icall which send traffic to only one node and when its down to another ?

Do you not want to used the built-in mechanism in the pool via priority group activation as previously mentioned by nitass?
I suppose if you don't want to use PGA, you could look at the LB_FAILED event for an iRule.

Can you please share the LB_FAILED iRule. IP 1: 10.101.10.24 (Primary ) --> if its fail then traffic should go to secondary member IP 2: 10.201.11.22 (Secondary)
