Irule editor problems
It seem like the latest .NET framework update just released (07/20/2006) is crashing the irule editor.

- Thanks, I'll download it and take a look this morning.
-Joe - I just loaded the security updates from this morning (KB917283) for the .NET Framework and don't have any issues. Could you let me know which update you installed (if it's different) and provide a exception trace so I can find out where the app is having problems.
Thanks!

And can't reproduce.

I just downloaded and installed the editor, however nothing happens when I try and launch the application from the Windows start menu.
I'm using XP Professional SP2, Symantec Client Firewall, .NET 2.0 Framework (with Security Update KB922770).
Any ideas? Do you need more information?
Thanks
Mohammed - Is the iRuler.exe process showing up in the task manager? That would tell if it is a rendering issue or one that stems from us using the ClickOnce deployment to load dynamic updates from DevCentral.f5.com. Are you running behind a proxy server? If so, did you apply the KB listed above?

No, the iRuler.exe process is not showing up. I'm not behind a proxy server, but am behind a private Windows updates server (WSUS) not SMS. My machine checked into the WSUS server via group policy and downloaded the KB and installed it.
Does that have anything to do with it?
Thanks
Mohammed
