iRule Editor - error when saving bigip.conf

Hi Arie, I got your message but got funneled through to my hotmail email address which is tied to one of my test accounts and couldn't find a way to reply to you.

With regards to the bigip.conf saving, that's likely a permission issue with the account you are using within iControl. Are you using an Admin level account or just a guest? If it's a guest-level then odds are there are no write permissions. You can find out the type of account you have from the admin GUI "Users" section. I'm running with an "admin" account and it works fine.

 

 

If this persists, then you might want to open a ticket with product support.
