Nimbostratusirule and ssl profile
I want to redirect all http traffic on a certain vip from http to https. Will i have to apply irule onto it as well along with the ssl profile?

MVPyou apply an irule with the redirect on the the port 80 virtual server and create (if you haven't already) a port 443 virtual server with an client side ssl profile indeed.
