 Hi All,    
 Need to clarify some basic info regarding Viprion(new to viprion) :    
  i believe vcmp host and guest are on the same hardware . how are clusters and slots different ?  
 is there any ...

Short answers:

Yes, they are on the same hardware. vCMP host is, in essence, the hypervisor on which the guests are deployed. A slot is where you can add a blade (say 4 slots in a 2400). A cluster is a group of slots/blades so a blade is a cluster member.

With vCMP you provision multiple vCMP guests i.e. think of them as individual BIG-IPs running their own modules. Without vCMP a VIPRION device is one beefy BIG-IP where you can hot swap blades to add CPU/RAM/Hard Disk capacity.
