Inbuilt dashboard
gurus
The subject says it all. I love the inbuilt dash and would like to have the ability to show it live to anybody who wants to know without having to login to the admin gui.
Maybe a monitor in the Service Desk area that show live stats all day long for the L1 techs to see.
It looks like there is no such option but I thought I'd ask. I could create a read-only account and use that but that exposes a lot more than I'd like. Just the dash is what I want.
And yes I could try cacti but the inbuilt dash looks 1000 times sexier :)
Out of luck ?

Pretty much. (OOL that is).
You could always do what I do, and design your own dashboard that then pulls the information via SNMP (And save to a DB/RRD or whatever). Possibly just creating a new sexy module for cacti would be easier (But I dislike the standard cacti redisplay the whole page approach to refreshing. All the stuff I wrote is update in place using AJAX). Of course that's not out of the question for cacti either, but it doesn't lend itself towards that direction at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. I thot so but wanted to confirm. I just like the flash-based stuff for showing off :)
We are looking at the supported version of Zenoss and I know it has an F5 zenpack so that'll be next.
