NimbostratusIf F5 box crashes, what layer(L2 or L3) it will work?
If the F5 box crashes..not HW...may be due to other reason...what layer it will work?

BJ_114988Thanks Sudheer! what will be the impact of this kind of crash ? Nothing will work right (when not in HA)and all clients will get page cannot be displayed message or is it something else?
El_Jefe_43496Layer 0. ;-) It depends. There are three different kernels running on the box - TMM, Mgmt, and AOM. If AOM is enabled, it generally survives a box crash, but only runs on the Mgmt interface. In a hard drive crash type scenario, TMM will not respond.
