iControl error codes

My situation is like this. I am writing automation to create Virtual Server and pool every time when some special event on back-end system happens. I want to swallow "already exists" exceptions, but throw if i get another exception. It seems that the most reliable way here is to rely on error code (16908390). But I have no evidence that this error code is related only to "already exists" exception.
