NimbostratusI hae a big ip 2000 appliance for load balancing, tell me what it can do!
Hi al I new to this forum, I have just had a big ip box to load balance to 2 web servers
I have some questions
By default does it proxy the connections? Can it send mail alerts ? If say the web service goes down on one of te severs, could it restart it? what intelligent things can they do ? What is persistence ? What's the easiest way to set up?

if you use tcp profile, yes.

i do not know. it may be possible if server provides interface to bigip to restart it.
