How to setup an environment to learn how LTM works?

I work in a lab and recently I approached a team that handles f5 equipment and asked about load balancers, they pointed me to the f4 website to find out more and gather questions. I was also told that I could build something on this site to replicate a small lab environment. Is this something that I can perform through this site?
